Welcome and thank you for visiting Beaches Internal Medicine and Associates web site. We are grateful that you are considering us for your health care needs.
Dr. Jorge Aguilar established Beaches Internal Medicine in 1988. We have Board Certified Internal Medicine Physicians and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. We are committed to providing excellent health care.
We specialize in preventative medicine and managing complex internal medicine illnesses with a comprehensive caring approach. Please see below to view our medical staff.
Our office hours for scheduled appointments are 8:30am - 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday and 8:30am - 12:00 pm on Friday. Same day appointments available.
SERVICES PROVIDED
Our providers offer primary medical care including physical examinations, gynecological care, preventative medicine and management of complex internal medicine diseases.
We also provide onsite procedures for Ultrasound, Echocardiograms, Arterial Blood Flow tests, Pulmonary Function Tests, Allergy Screening and Cardiac Monitoring. The tests are performed by certified technicians and intrepreted by credentialed physicians.

Our Doctors
Dr. Jorge A. Aguilar, M.D.
Dr. Jorge A. Aguilar, MD., founder and owner of Beaches Internal Medicine, is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. His expert care has gained him recognition as a Health Grades physician and recipient of the Patient’s Choice Award for 2008 – 2009.
Dr. Aguilar graduated from medical school in 1980 from Catholic University of Cordoba in Argentina. He then prepared for further studies by completing his residency and internship in New York.
He held a double Attending Teaching Position in the Department of Internal Medicine and Ambulatory Care at Lincoln Hospital the largest Institution affiliated with New York Medical College.
Dr. Aguilar’s thorough approach to both the diagnosis and treatment of his patients has resulted in a thriving practice based on competent and compassionate care. As a bilingual physician, fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Aguilar is able to connect with a variety of patients with diverse cultural needs.
He and his wife Gina have two wonderful sons, Ian and Joshua, and are happy to call Ponte Vedra their home.
